Kabu
I haven't watched that show, but I do love P.E.I., almost as much as Nova Scotia...

A parent reading to a child is a great way to strengthen the parent-child bond. Sadly that seems to have become a lost art with our hectic schedules and technology making it very easy to occupy children.

Well I think they were not very respectful of a Canadian icon love but I enjoyed the rest of the show

Kabu,
As I always tell you, I love your stories. Just curious, did you find that little segment that Kelly and her hubby did to be a bit condescending? I've never read the stories but I kinda got that feeling that some may have seen it that way.

I never got into that program, not because I did not try its just that I could not get into it.  The travel does sound like allot of fun and I love Light houses/LB

You make me want to read those books again.  I never read them to my sons.  I read them boys books.  LOL.  Every time we went on a long trip, I would turn my passenger seat backwards in the van and read them a Louis L'Amour book to keep them quiet.  Their dad liked that too.  Now I have to go Google P.E.I. and look at photos because I have never been there.

I've never been to P.E.I. Grandmummy, but some of my family memebers have and I hear it is beautiful.  How wonderful of Poppy to take you there.

Kabu Green.
Hi Kabu I  loved that book and it was televised wasn't it, I don't watch the tele much it seems so repetitive. It is useful to lull one into sleep though. You are always interesting to read, but I know you don't like praise, so I will be quiet. Found another Aussie Pinot Noir, Victoria.
