Wow! A "5" is pretty strong. I've felt one that strong once in Mexico. It was quite an experience.

Kabu

Well, as you know, we also had a bit of fear and trembling around here, actually more trembling than fear, LOL.

Of course I now nothing of your new Aussie Pime Minister, but the girls haven't been doing badly, and often much better than the boys. Maggie Thatcher in Britain was good, although many didn't like her, and Angie Merkel in Germany seems to be doing a very good job as well...

Kabu, we felt the tremors from the quake in the Windsor-Detroit area
and had tornado warnings last night between 10-11pm...fortunately they didn't materialize and we just had rather vivid t'storms....hope you are safe and that all is well there today.....

Hi Kabu it is so still here at the moment, It is hard to visualize the fury of a tornado. I do hope it will fizzle out before it reaches you, a good job your veranda is not half built.

Hope both of you are fine. Thanks very much for your warm comment and support. Nita

And Australia won its game in World Cup Soccer, Kabu!!! With nice goals too. Felt the earthquake - hope the tornado passes you by. Enough is enough!

Wow! We never experience weather events like that, thank goodness! Hope it worked out OK for you (and hope the new Australian prime minister makes a better fist of it than Mrs Thatcher...)

Funny last line, Kabu!
Good there's a woman in charge, but that one?  You are so cool!  Hope the tornado missed you -- or didn't materialize.

Very scary
When I was 18 we had an earthquake here.  We were in church and everything started to shake.  There was an older man at the other end of the pew and he kept looking at us sternly as if we were shaking the pew. Stay safe.

Similar to how I felt/feel about Hillary..
Want a woman president, but not her. She's too cozy with big money and power. Anyway, didn't mean to get political, lol. Just happy you and Wiley are okay! And now storms - geez, a pile on. Stay safe, Dear Friend.
