I don't know what to say...as in America, what's real in one place may not be real some place else. I'll keep praying for peace, for the sake of children everywhere and us all.

Re: I just don't get the bitter hatred that
I completely agree. I think it's a kind of deep uncertainty about themselves which makes them want to turn everyone to their point of view. Something about feeling affirmed when people agree with you. But grown up people don't feel that way. One task of religion should be to enable people to grow up, but sadly, the reverse often seems to be true.

Tzippy
It gives me a feeling of being there, and of the terrible threat the child senses but probably does not fully comprehend in its magnitude...

Well, God bless you - as I feel He does - I tell you I am mesmerized by your account here.  This is History and should be written and I wonder if you are documenting this - maybe writing for a 'book' or a journal for your children.  I wonder how most of us would survive this shock of constant attack over our lives.  I think of all the terroristic problems here within the States - with drugs - gangs and all the other stuff - it is frightening to me only because I don't want it touching my children or grandchildren; is why I'd like to see it fought here in the U.S. ~ however, back to this account.  This is/was a horrific threat and I am glad you are telling of it.  You are a very strong woman - very humble - very open and genuine and I'm glad to know of you - Elyse

The post and the comments that shed light on today's events are extremely valuable to me.  You are one of the several talented story-telllers on Blogit.  Courage says it all for that day.  I wish you could all write best-sellers!!!

Powerful work as always, Tzippy..
I agree with you about Saudi Arabia. Seems all U.S. administrations bow and scrape to that altar of oil, greed and terror.

I just don't get the bitter hatred that
makes people want to kill everyone "not them." It's a narrow, restricted life they've chosen for themselves. Seems to me that every zealot who ever acted this way has eventually destroyed himself and those around him, and his philosophy is scorned by all civilized persons.

How traumatic Tzippy, the will to survive and fight against all odds is what touches me when I read stories like this. I can't imagine you went through all this.

Tzippy
It's long time no see. But Tzippy, I would like to see all this in your 'continued' through your eyes. I loved the way you express these from the depths of your heart.
