Hate is a horrible disease....and can be conquered only by love, communication, and understanding. But is that realistic or a reachable goal with all the greed, selfishness, corruption, materialism and and deception in this world. It would be nice if every focused on the positive accomplishments. Children get caught up in the Adults bull#*!*

Yes, you were forced to grow up quickly - very sad that simple things in life are taken for granted.  It's amazing to me your courage as a young gal.  I am moved by your writings. Elyse

I like the way you weave the comments through
almost as prompts to send you in a new direction.

Heartwrenching and powerful work, Tzippy
While I also don't agree 100 percent with your views, I do believe extremism of any political or religious stripe spells nothing but death and destruction. I appreciate the personal toll you have suffered and yet there is still a sense of balance, reason and calm in your responses. If only such could be found in our leaders; every last one of them involved in the greatest conflict of our time.

You had to grow up fast and had several crisis at once.  You are also a great stroyteller alhtough the nature of some of the stories is sad.  But it is good to be mindful of how  some people in the world live.

Tzippy
Very compelling! And yes, Palestinian children are indeed being taught that it is a glorious thing to put on an explosive belt and go blow yourself up and as many Jews as possible! I wrote a post on it a couple of years ago...But here in the West that too is covered over in silence, as is so much else...
