maj, getting all weepy again. Health care gets to me. Vets especially.
REserves and the Guard are doing it all and we should be doing it all for them.

Please recoup and participate in some way in the discussion nationally as you have very valid points that must be heard by some damned person in authority or another, heheheheheh.

Anyway, what mcnab said............wonderfully written. Will visit Grace  next week.

Re: Thanks all. Northsage I'm not understanding your reply.
Majroj,
I probably should have taken the time to make my opinion more clear. I am sure that after Obama opens the door for health care coverage for everyone, prohibiting existing condition triggering an automatic refusal to insure, caps on medical coverage, donut-holes, etc. there will be prolonged, angry howls and predictions of financial ruin, mountainous tax hikes and rate hikes, and I am certain that chaos will reign for awhile, before everything shakes down and settles out. I am however, confident that history will remember this presidency on a par with FDR's, which made nearly every U.S. citizen far less likely to starve, in their infirm years, by forcing Social Security upon the whole country, regardless of all those who predited disaster, if S.S. became a fact. Most would never advocate rescinding Social Security, one day Obama's health care reform will be seen as a great leap forward for everyone, just like every other sweeping reform of U.S. social policy has be evaluated after coming come to fruition. Abberations like the "Patriot Act," and Abu Ghirac, (sp?) will be considered the shameful blunders they were, and hopefully we will learn from these mistakes.
Hope you see this, sorry for the delay in my reply. Been really busy lately!

Thanks all. Northsage I'm not understanding your reply.

So let me bull ahead.

President Obama signed a bill last October authorizing Dept of Defense's health insurance program TRICARE to accept paying customers from among retired Reserve and Guard vets. TRICARE says they won't right now, and will take a year to process any Reserve/Guard retiree under sixty years old when they do start to follow their orders. There's reform...and his subordinate agency says "No".

I had a look at their website
Keep on with the decompressing. It's all good. The place on the road where you are. Though I rather think of it as sailing down a river

passing by all sorts of stuff on the banks.

How to reach new cohorts, that's the thing.
