It's best to rest when you are not well especially with a fever that high.

With a temperature of 100 degrees, you needed to be resting! I think you made the right decisions! Sometimes trying to stick it out can cost more days. sam

I am pretty much the same way as far as working when I'm sick. This winter I worked 2 days feeling under the weather. Thankfully, I never got really sick.

It is derned difficult to work "smart" when you are ill.

You know its sad when we beat ourselves up when we're 'sick' --- and I know you did the best you could but, with fever --- which by the way is transmissible to others - could really really harm you.  and if really vulnerable and burning the candle at both ends, one can be hospitalized for the quick effects of a virus even.  At any rate, I'm glad you're okay today and that you write of memories.  I am learning as I get older, that I need to recognize when my body needs rest...or the worst may come about.  (I hate being sick, so I know what you're talking about) Elyse

Those with pupose tend to require more...
of themselves and drive their bodies and minds harder than others. As I have gathered a few years to my life, I now think I work smarter than I used to. All though I still burn the candle at both ends when it is necessary. Keep Looking Up! Dan

It's much more difficult to go off sick when you're in a family business, but the danger with staying on is that you risk post-viral fatigue syndrome (M.E.) which can go on for months or years.

Coming to work sick....
in my business it could cost me money.....because I'd probably make others sick and then they'd be off.........Owning a business is always a 24/7/365 thing!
