Re: elysianfields
Thank you ever so much and we are so synchronized in echoes, aren't we?  ~ Aba

So beautiful and as tribute, and so verily touching --- this made me gasp and want to sob...so moving ~  Not only does the poem bring such metaphor and feelings to life and then the end --- such honor to the loss.  I love this poem ~ It appears Wordsworth wrote of how he 'listened' and not only watched from this young boy --- Very good choice to reflect on Aba ~ hauntingly resilient as it remains touching my heart; as an echo  ~ Ely

Thanx a lot elinjo. Those for whom these poems are reminiscences it is refreshing, and for those who read these the first time, both enjoyable and encouraging are such, I think.

My love for sharing these with you all great poets out there is to bring the likeness of the great imageries that I often find in your (you all's) poems too. And your appreciation is a fulfillment for my effots in being able to have successfully done so. Thank you so very much.

I simply love how an echo can be such an instrument for a fine piece of work! I marvel at the imagery that these fine poets were able to put into their poems! Once again I tip my hat to a fine essay! sam

I'm sure you can see that beautiful image, you being a fine poetess yourself. There are a great number of Wordsworth poems worth contemplating upon.

Yes, those pics were great, so are your travellogues. No vogue, I am neither fat, if that's what you mean, nor paperthin. But that write of yours I found humorous, so just good-naturedly, you know .... admit

I am glad you show such interest in Wordsworth and share my love of his poems, gripping, while teaching.

This boy talking to the owls and seeing nature from eye to ear is a beautiful image abanerjee. The poem too is outstanding. Thanks so much for the summary.

My comment is beyond the point, it's rather a reference to your comment on my pictures: I don't believe that you are let's say "of a certain solid mass." You were pulling my leg, admit it!!

This process of being all-encompassed by nature always fascinates me.

Re: Tzippy .... i love what you are doing
That, Tzippy was so profusely stated as a 'written word' in encouragement and inspiration. People like you, Darson,  loving my contributions, egg me on to better myself. It's like  a challenge to myself as  'smiles' , a mile from from one to the other, between ss's. Don't know whether conveyed, but this is the best I could do.

the choice for this poem is great, and your input is amazing. it makes me love the written word more than I thought I ever would

The written word, hmm??? No wonder why I loved your style, the easy manner of a conversationalist writer, and to be able to write on just about everything; it did make me wonder on your exceptional talent I wanted to imbibe. I take a lot of time in my constructs of the thought, its prsentation, the phrases I must quote, etc, etc., and am so glad you like it that is fulfilling for my efforts. Isn't it a suprisng give and take in all forms of love? Your comment, "I see that I was wrong", prompted me to say that. THanksaMuchO .

Yes, I think compelled to invent is right. I quite loved your thoughtful response. Through Nature, the chosen one becomes an instrument, vehicle of God himself. Thank you so much, janey

Initially, I thought there was no possible way I could love or appeciate the written word anymore than I already do....after reading your posts, I see that I was wrong...thank you for the commentary on these works...it really enhances the flavor of each phrase for me. I love what you're doing, here.

Reminds me of a quote by Lesley Walmsley in his compilation book, C. S. Lewis on Faith.  He quotes Lewis as referring to God as “that great Imagination which in the beginning, for Its own delight and for the delight of men and angels and (in their proper mode) of beasts, had invented and formed the whole world of Nature, submitted to express Itself in human speech, that speech should sometimes be poetry”.
