Thanks Sam
I know it took you 2 readings (maybe more), but i hope it was worth the trouble, I'm giving you all a break while I try to find a more reader-friendly way of explaining my thought process. What started with one word and a simple vision turned out to be rooted in my very existence.
Thanx for being such a loyal reader.

Abanerjee
I am a native speaker of Arabic not Urdu, the two may share an alphabet but not much else. I am British by birth but my father is Syrian and my mother is Libyan and I have just moved (back) to Poland to raise my son with the help of my father. I've been bilingual from the word GO! but most of my education was in Arabic which explains why I can delve into the finer points of the language and culture of "the desert". Still I find it easier to express myself in English (especially as a writer), even though the Syrian dialect is unbeatable as medium for humor!

Urdu is one of the most fascinating languages in the world, and you need to have a special training to be able to pronounce certain sounds that are almost non-existent in any language. That clip is just too damn funny.
You are a British by birth I believe; it is great to know that you love this language of the desert.
