Re:
Yes, Mariss9, even us Muslims view such things and trends in human nature and life as "Signs" of Judgement day.

Some Christians view this phenomenon as the "end times".  I tend to view it this way.

It's almost like calling it as you see it! I think it is good to be expressive! sam

Re: Hello Mr. Aspire2Inspire
Thanks Raphael for everything! from the book to your providing the insights and pointing out...
I actually wanted to mention something about our materialistic ways and world and superficiality, and honestly speaking, I didn't plan for my post to be exactly this way, but you know how sometimes you end up writing things you didn't want to write in the first place, but you just write your heart out and you go with the flow while u're in the frenzy...
Anyways thanks a lot and I will surely get the book and google the author.

Hello Mr. Aspire2Inspire
I think your pen-name is great.

I also read your little article with considerable sympathy.

I would like to bring your attention to a book I have just read, which would agree with you about your analysis of the situation, but whose author would consider this state of affairs comes about because man is seeing the whole universe in materialistic terms, instead of realizing that their is a spiritual reality which is more important than anything.

This man is a theoretical nuclear physicist called Amit Goswani Ph.D and the book of his I am reading is called:

The Visionary Window: A Quantum Physicist's Guide to Enlightenment

You can find it at Amazon.com

Also, if you do a Google search on Amit Goswani, you will come up with YouTube videos of interviews he has given which you may find interesting.

But I wanted to tell you about this all because I noted that you are Muslim and I know that many Muslims are deeply religious and mystical.

If you find this part of yourself and read Dr. Goswami, you will perhaps find an enormously enlightened and scientific view of the universe that is also spiritual and gives great hope to balance out the wicked, selfish side of human nature.

 So I wish you well!

I have been blown away by his thoughts.....Truly wonderful!

Jonathan   aka 'Raphael'
