Take into account that unions require three years of employment before benefits. Ironically the control of health insurance by unions really led to the skyrocketing of premiums only in the last two decades. BCA, Bill’s RJJst

I agree that most health care is each person's responsability (prevention). In Canada our care is supposed to be free (what???) but if we had waited on the system, my brother would be dead by now. We went private, paid, and it certainly helped prolong his life.

I remember the last democratic president starting his tenure with trying to solve the health care issue and it failed badly! I really haven't observed any forward thinking. It is such a tough issue to resolve! The republicans stayed away as far as I can recollect! It may never be resolved! sam

Krisles...
You are so on the money.........thank God apparently many more are seeing the same thing.....the luster is wearing off the ornament.
Notice one thing from last night....the focus group data is in and you will now see no references to "Health Care"....from here on out it will be about "Health Insurance" "Care" plays upon the concerns you listed in your post....it focuses the negative on the government......."Insurance" shifts the negativity to the companies offering said insurance....it's much better to demonize those companies than draw attention to the prospect of the potential governmental interference..........

Just stopping by to say "hey." I don't get this whole healthcare mess
and how it will be paid for...so i can't really comment on it intelligently.
