Re: I am sorry for your plight
Thanks for sharing the longest word with me.  Who knows when I might need to use it!

Yes, Mysteria, so do I!  The responses I have been getting have bolstered me considerably. Once again, thanks to all of you for your love, concern, and encouragement.  You may very well be the medicine I need to make it thru this alive!

Re: Sorry

Thank you for your interest and concern. I have re-read your short bio, and I, too, like Celine Dion; she has a beautiful voice.  I love your sense of humor, and your favorite quote, "I am what I am," is a real classic!

I do so hope Dave has forgiven you, or soon will. Life is much too short to harbor grudes, especially over an opinion! (Dave; please re-consider. It will be in your own best interest.) Thank you, Lustorlove, (Great name!), and please keep in touch.

GEPRUIT, I wish that I could do something to make you all better and add many years to your life.  Instead, the only thing that I know to do is to pray that God will work in your life in a positive way for health and strength.  Though I can definitely understand it, I am concerned about the anxiety, for it will definitely make the physical condition worse.  May the Lord grant you peace and hope and faith in His love, and keep you from pain.

Re: I'm so sad to read this news. You have always been an encouragement
Ariala, It is always good to hear from you, and now is no exception. You may rest assured that my personal Faith is strong, and my Hope will always be high. I am a believer in naturopathic medicine, and I will follow through on your suggestions there.  Thank you so very much!

Re: Re: Re:

To my friend, Elinio, in Denmark: Good morning 'world citizen!' Although we have never met, I sense a strong spiritual bond with you, and I thank you from the bottom of my enlarged heart for your encouraging words. Yes, this must rank as one of my most difficult times, but time will pass (we can not stop that), and we shall see. In the meantime, I want you to know how very important it is to hear from my friends. I will continue to fight for life; I am not ready to die just yet. I will trust that God has already answered long ago any prayers that I might have. He is so thorough!

Have a great day!

I'm so sad to read this news. You have always been an encouragement

to read.  My best offerings are from a place of prayer and hope.  We can't always control what happens to our bodies, but giving our hearts to the Lord for sake keeping is the best we can do.

A regimen of natural herbs and alternatives is my only suggestion.  Consider Ambitrose and other Mannatech products (only online, I think)...contact your health food stores or a naturopath for other choices.  Don't accept death by doctors. Fight, my friend.  There IS hope.  You are in my prayers.

Yes, Elinio, I have received many opinions, but they all agree. It simply just does not look good.

Re: I am sad...and pray that you will be granted strenght and faith as well as
Chilitree, your sentiments have been of great help to me.  Thank you for being there. It is times like this that try one's Soul, and it is concerned people like you that make it more bearable.

My heart goes out to you, but I cannot offer any advice that others have already offered. My daughter has that kind of thyroid trouble to but takes medication for it. Doctors are not infallible. Is it possible for you to get a second opinion?

Re: It sounds like a tough time you've been having

Yes, hypothyroidism of itself is easily treated, but it is the enlarged heart and reduced capacity that will get me. if I am to be gotten. I am on medication for both conditions, but can't seem to get enough rest because of increased anxiety and labored breathing.  I will,  however, continue to fight, but the doctors hold out little hope, with only 15% heart capacity, for success. All I can do is to try, and I will.

Thanks, Azur, for your helpful advice.

Sorry for your troubles. I cannot offer any advice about the very serious condition however hypothyroidism means you have an underactive thyroid and it makes you feel that you are moving very slowly with no energy. It is easily treated with daily medication called oroxin.

One that medication starts to kick in it makes a big difference. All best to you.

I am so sorry for your health troubles...
I have had hypothyroidism for years and years.  It is easy to remedy with synthetic thyroid hormone.  I take a pill everyday for that and it has been stable for 20 years.

I am so sorry for your heart my dear, and I wish I could take away your anxiety and fear over the prospect of what you are facing.  I send you love and lovingoodkindnes and of course, hugs.

Thanks, 9star, I do believe in God and myself, but I admit to being scared.  I am not ready to die.

Thank you for your comment. It means more to me than you can probably know.
