My heart is crying once more with the ache that seeps from this poem.  And yet I love how the end has that small bit of hope because even sadness can be sweet.  It's beautiful, Marta.

a sad poems but all endings are.  The good thing though in this balanced world with every ending there is a new begining just waiting to jump out at you.......now that is not sad, that is exciting

Sinome
You described so very well a terrible sadness that I lived for over 8 years after my Joycie died. Then God felt my sadness of which you wrote and sent me another lady of equal quality of heart and soul, my Kabuiepie.

heat broken beauty
your lyrical tears amaze my now weeping heart.  That which we have loved, we always love at least a little. that which we no longer love, we never did

Sinome your poem is heart wrenching, pouring into a cup that never fills. Even in sadness...there is beauty to be found.

Wow, very deep into the emotions you feel when a person leaves.  Well expressed, I hope this is not how you're feeling right now :(

I so agree that sadness can be sweet! It doesn't always make sense but once experienced, it has a whole new flavor! Wonderful imagery! I don't know how to put pictures on my blog or auntie would have plastered him all over! It was so cute today because he was over to my place today with his dad getting my washer, dryer and refrigerator hooked up and all the while the rest were at his house decorating for the party after ceremonies! He didn't have a clue! He was so stoked! sammy loves you!!!! sammy xoxoxoxoxo

It is so hard to live as a forgotten being and
like the tree holding on the the very last leaf to be remembered.
