You packed in a lot but it's like that there
I have been back a few times and it always changes. I lived there for a time. It was exhilarating and oppressive by turns.

Here I am again, saying thank you for your comment on my Troy article. Coming from you, who is so far ahead in the travel article writing business, it means a lot.

There's no place like home to look at pictures and remember wonderful places I've been.  LOL

How great to read about your Hongkong trip. I used to go there often on business when I was an attorney, but haven't been back since. But I will, combined with a longer trip to China. I'm so relived that you are back safe and sound, turbulences and all. And what you say about long distance flights and massges is so true: I always have one and a long swim. It helps a lot.

Glad you had a good time Mal
but I hate flying but one day I will go on a trip to Bangkok Thailand or Singapore. If the airports are anything to go by, these places are exotic. I will take my son and we shall have fun and I would be stopping at a massage and spa bath place with pedicure and manicure etc and facial for the first day. AHH the bliss of it all. There is nothing like a really good proper massage of the back and arms and legs and lower back and head to relieve stress. It beats anti depressants any day.

Welcome back! Seems like you had a great time. You should take the plunge, up your membership and then show us some pictures!

I've never been to the Far East, but I guess I'll go one of these days. A friend of mine, rather well-to-do, used to fly to Hongkong once a year to have a bunch of suits made - that was just about his only interest there.

But since he has pretty well given up wearing suits, he isn't going any more...yep, I do have some strange friends...

I am glad you enjoyed your whirlwind trip!
Sounds fascinating - I have a great interest in that part of the world and although I have been to Singapore, Jakarta and Manilla I never got to Hong Kong - a place I really wanted to see; by your accounts the turbulence was obviously worth it Welcome back; many blessings and thanks

I would cringe all the way on a turbulent flight! So glad you had a great time! I agree, there's no place like home! I am very happy you are back, too! sammy
