If you figure back to when you began to live your life as an adult
and think of yourself as adult, then double that--you will, from that year on, have been an adult longer than you were a child. It's a kind of tipping point.

I hear you on having enough left over for an airline ticket! I save for a year if need be so that I can have that one time each year to see family and friends! Much good luck as you work toward getting to Australia! sam
