Sounds good, I would like to read it!
I guess Swine Flu gives new meaning to the saying "Pigs will fly.' Now Swine Flu or have flown, the grammar of it all gets to me.

Bee season has a little different meaning for me right now--baseball players doing strange dances in center field of the Royals Stadium.   For some reason this spring bees have swarmed, are swarming, at our Royals Stadium.  Bee specialists have been called in to capture the queen and take her somewhere else, but even though they have taken away thousands of bees, so far they don't seem to have captured the queen.  For some reason, the bees seem to be focusing on center field so that every now and then in the midst of important play, a baseball player starts doing a strange dance for the fans to watch.

Thanks for a very informative post.

I read her book a few months ago and was fascinated by the dysfunctionality of the family in question. You do seem to meet some really interesting people.

In the past 20 years I've never ever missed my annual 'flu jab; the last time I had the 'flu I was very ill and had pneumonia on top of it.

Great story.
I would dearly love to meet this pigeon-toed, talented lady. Great post.

What an extremely interesting post, so full of information. I always learn something new from you. About the shots: I haven't had one in my life either, I had enough with yellow fever shots I needed for my Africa travels back then and I did take malaria tablets, but that's it.
