Self-reliant, resourceful, funny and smart? Congrats! What more could a proud Mom want, or a proud Dad, for that matter? And I'm happy to be able to say that my kids, though a wee bit older, fall into the same category...And the best of luck to them both, of course...

Hey mal......I thought this was a pic of you and your son when you first posted it. I'm the same kind of Mom. I just tried to "read" each child (as the were growing up) and guide them accordingly. I looked at all three of them the night of my party....and I was very proud.
