I am really excited about going, too--despite the long, long hours it takes to fly there--could be worse, could be years on a little ship... and I'll have a month to take pictures, which I just know will not be enough!

Thank you, food4thought!.
Now, I would know more about the digital settings to possibly capture the scene. But when the initial exposure is fuzzy, photoshop can't boost anything but fuzz. It's tripod and long-exposure stuff!

Those are fantastic shots of the mountain getting it's daily bath of sunshine. As for the valley fog photos, you could try just taking them and if they need boositing, use photoshop!
