101 What a great idea...for you to become a poet... not to "take me on" for I am nothing...but to perhaps bring some softness and beauty into your life. Nothing wrong with roses and butterflies ... we all could use some in our dreams... specially those children suffering at the hands of misguided people, living in the midst of the chaos caused by stupid wars. A butterfly flying through a sky filled with hope, a rose given in a gesture of love would do more for them than all the humanitarian help announced and given by hypocritical two-faced politicians in pursuit of self-gain. I am sorry I got involved in this but just to be clear, I called you :visionary" in the best sense of the word...meaning someone that sees what is to come better than others can... It was not meant as an insult or put down in any way for I respect your right to feel the way you do and express it any which way you like. You are right in that I always leave a door opened when I, not "attack" but disagree with someone. I do that because my mind is always opened to new and different ideas and I like to reserve the option of changing it if I see that I am mistaken and the truth lies elsewhere . i believe the conflict started with Jacob and Esau, no? "The Lord" is a phrase that is repeated oftenly in The Old Testament but never appears anywhere in any original manuscripts, (it was apparently added so people would not be confused by all the different gods, oops, i mean, all of (the?) god's different names. Anyway, The Lord ("God is love") hated Esau. i believe Jacob=Isreal and Esau=Palestine, so God hates Palestinians, no? It took me a good decade (long story) to stop believing in this god who The Jews and Muslims and Christians still kill in the name of. He was/is after all, a Hebrew warrior god. So what else is new???

Sadly I didn't feel that this was news
Israel and Palestine have been a sink hole of hatred for as long as I can remember and I think it sad that two entire cultures have sunk to such a level. As for vaporising Israel, I do not understand how adding hatred to the situation would help matters, surely we would be better off seeking a way to introduce love and reason.

First, I realize that it is the holidays and at this time of year things do slow down on Blogit due to people traveling and are busy. I am sure this is one reason why there has not been much written on this topic. However, Blogit does not suck, as you put it because of the absence of discussion on this topic.
Second, you have stated your view on this and have apparently agreed with, no doubt, liberal minded American bloggers who desire to see Israel 'vaporized'. The Palestinians and Israelis have been fighting for many a year. Who started it is definitely debatable. However, the day America turns its' back on Israel will be a day that America would regret forever. America must always support Israel. There are many in this nation who do side with terrorist. In my view the Palestinians and especially Hamas the Islamist movement are nothing but terrorists. To wish that either would be vaporized is the same as what many of you have falsely blamed President Bush as being during his administration. Liberal political thought is contradictory and this is what this type of thought is all about. The anti-war crowd preaches daily about the Iraq War was wrong but given the question do they think that Israle should be 'vaporized', they would jump at the chance to say yes.
Palestine and Israel will fight continously until the second coming of Jesus and then He, and only He, will straighten this conflict out once and for all. This is my view which weighs the same as yours. I must warn those of you out there who support terrorist, that this is not what made this nation great. The pure thought that anyone in this nation would side with terrorist is not only wrong but defines them as the enemy as well.

101, for months I have read what you write and admired your commitment and dedication to help, in your view, those of us that you perceive as not seeing as clearly as you, arrive to the same conclusions about life and this world and the next that you so determinately hold. I liked that because in a way it meant that you loved us... only if one love another does one try to change them. As one that has gone through the excruciating experience of a terrorist attack in Israel... I am here to bear witness to you that the Israeli people, whatever you might think of them or their "Zionist" views have endured what we suffered in 911 for a long long time. The scale of the attacks has been much smaller but consistent and continuous... We lost thousands in one day...a terrible and unimaginable loss... they have lost tens of thousands over the years ... to walk those streets at one time was to play Russian roulette... and regardless again of what your political views are any informed person would see that whenever they have retaliated it has been 99 times out of a hundred in response to being attacked first.
