My grandfather used to sing us a lovely little ditty --
went something like this: "Had a little puppy, kept him in the country, fed him on gingerbread; along came a choo choo, knocked him cuckoo; now my little puppy's dead."
That's a sweet dreams bed time tune if I ever heard one, eh?

I hadn't heard this one I have to say
I awlays told my boys to clean their teeth, do their wees and go to bed. One day they rebelled. They were in their teens and had taken enough! LOL
