I remember several of the more
flamboyant dorks sporting those Don Johnson/Miami Vice white linen jackets...Oh wait..I did, too. That was me -- the Prince of Dorkness.

i am older than you, i thought most of the 80's fashions weird
this coming from a guy who used to wear floppy bell bottoms, and tie dye, and platform shoes in the 70's lol

Being an "80's" girl myself,
I loved the 80's! Remember those shiny slap-on bracelets? BTW, I'm wearing a banana clip in my hair right now.

very true
i raided my nan's wardrobe the other day. she died two years ago but it feels great to bust out her fashion and think of her while i'm wearing her groovy gear. i think my grandad loves the idea of it too. nan is living on....

What great times!
I had or did 9 out of 10 things listed here!  Remember the "friendship pins"?  Those tiny beads on safety pins that we put on our shoe laces?  I pinned them up and down the leg of my jeans one day and wore them to school.  Thank goodness no one took a picture...

haha...cute post...
lucky for me I outgrew trendy stuff at a very early age...I mean I guess I did, I always wore/wear black. they call it emo nowadays...and I'm still a cutter even though I haven't been a teenager in quite a while.

I had Farrah Fawcett hair! Even the guys' hair was "feathered". We wore jeans so tight you had to lie on the bed and use a coat hanger to zip up. We'd use an entire thing of baby powder just to get them on after a basketball game! Hahah - this is great!

I remember all of that....
....and from a man's perspective, it was pretty scary.
I did, however, like some of the music.
