Dear Ladychardonnay

Thanks for reminding me that I like my reclusivity !  I am alone a lot and I seem to prefer it a lot of the time.  I do feel like something is missing because I am single and have no prospects for any type of meaningful relationship.  I guess that is why I fall in love with my therapists!  It is very safe that way!

It sounds like he is ignoring reality

in favour of how he wants the world to be... many people do this (or they see the world as they fear it may be) although it is all to different degrees.  However, if he is making life more difficult at a time when you do not feel able to deal with it, then perhaps it is time to leave... logistics work themselves out - inner trauma needs more work
