Re: Ciel
Thanks, Naut, my foot stopped the constant ache thing some time last night, and feels much more flexible this morning.  I'll go easy on it today, and by Wednesday, I probably won't even need early-boarding on the plane.

Ciel
I happened to check my seismograph this morning - so I knew that something had occurred down there, only to find out now it was you, lol. Seriously though, I do hope you're feeling better! Maybe you should stay a bit longer in DC and have the kids pamper you...

Sam, not so frightening, just alarming, because I was supposed to be
picking the kids up at the airport, and have several more days I meant for running around DC, that now can't happen. The other grandma was able to make the pick-up, so that was okay.

Kingmi, has anyone ever told you that you have your head
in the books too much?

Thanks so much, I am greatly appreciating your supportive sentiments!

The foot is probably just a strain--can curl the toes, but extending hurts like the dickens!  Very annoying, contant ache with occasional throb... on top of the diabetic neuropathy that makes a zone of numbness between toes and the ball of the foot.  Weird combination!

Aching shoulder... knee...  all will be well in a few days, I'm sure.

Thanks again for caring! Gives the whole adventure an up-side!

Oh dear. From the description of your fall I'm glad your injuries
were not MORE severe.  Ice should be your best friend for a few days!!!

ciel, Ouch! I fell too last week.
Monday night I fell backwards on the bed with my head in the bookcase.  My kids made me go see he doc.  An EKG and a blood test revealsed that I was dehydrated.  Much better this week with a bottle of water in my had all day!
