Sinome, c'mon over and help me go through this place !!! My paper piles are now all in plastic boxes and files, but not much better separated than previous to the box method.

sam444, I do, too. Keep all receipts monthly and then have my monthly debit card bank statement tucked into that envelope, too, as I use it for all purchases, always....to confirm the receipts. And then, I Turbo Tax the whole thing to organize things into categoriesand then file my taxes at a free site accessed from the IRS.gov site.....

And still, I messed up. Self employment is difficult and making more money than usual in the past three years has messed me up more.

I live in poverty and so, I can't be too far off in my deductions, but, the IRS is always right and the little people always wrong....So, we'll see. Someone has to help to pay our national debt !!!

I do my sorting each month. All the bills are kept in a monthly envelope with all receipts for the month in a #10 envelope. It save a lot of time on everything! sam
