Scary, but there's a lot of thing the "younger" generation does not know and does not seem to want to know. One favorite excuse seems to be "well, that was the 80's or the 90's" as if that was 10 million BC. It really means "that happened before
I was an adult, it doesn't matter."

Seedlings, I first heard the term "She killed the rabbit" when I was much
younger. I did the right thing and asked my sister what was meant by "killing the rabbit" where upon she explained to me things associated with pregnancy. In turn I told my friend, whom in turn told his mother he didn't won't any more brothers or sisters because he didn't want of his rabbits to die, whom in turn told my mother her son shouldn't spread horrible stories to impressionable children of my age group. So much for enlightenment.

I knew of that hollocaust , I am ashamed to say a few of those rabbits were killed on my behalf, but hey, cute as they were, I NEEDED to know if I was pregnant or not. Besides, Many then and now ate them, what about that? PETA was not active way back then, and like you say sweetiem eve if they were, what was a woman to do? Did you know they also did that test with frogs?
