Offy,
I was gonna say something else until I read the part about shaving your legs. Totally LOL on that. I feel that way when I think me and Mr. Spitfire might possibly have some alone time. It seems to be a jinx. Whenever I am sure to be clean shaven all over...it doesn't happen. But it always does when I'm not, a hem, prepared!!  Well, Happy Valentines Day. Ya don't need a man to enjoy it. Enjoy your friends and family!

boy I can relate as far as the dating site, but unlike you I cant think of a time I had a Valentine in years

Sweet Girl, you have the greatest opportunity!

Offy, you are your valentine this year!  Take your self out...  buy your self a rose, have a lovely dinner with candles and gracious service, not sighing over being alone, but relishing your own perfect company-- And don't forget to say, at least once in the celebration, "I love you!" to you!

It is one day of the year to be wonderful and romantic and beautiful to yourself, after all the days of self-criticism, 'if-only' sighs, of simply not feeling good enough about being you...  You can get back to that, if you must, on Feb 15.  But for Valentine's Day, be there for you, your self!

Its nice to have someone that makes
you feel special--though there should be someone that makes you feel special everyday not just on a day that society says you must have a SO.  Last year was a nice valentines day for me.  This year I have no expectations

Sally
During those times when I was without a "Valentine", I would call a good friend and invite him out for for an evening of good laughs and gentle camaraderie. I'd even bring a rose...  I'm sure you have a few of those friends in your little black book.  But even if you choose not to do something like that, I'm sure you know you are loved by many.  One Hallmark day out of the year isn't going to change that.
