There was a recent wine taste test....
....conducted by the California Institute of Technology that showed people's preference for wine with higher price tags. The researchers secretly switched labels and the tasters (for the most part) preferred the wine in the higher-priced bottles, even when they had disliked the same wine with the cheaper label.
Click here for the ABC News story. I guess it just goes to show that taste is sometimes a subjective thing. In any case, the joke was more about the Wal*Mart shopper stereotype than the quality of cheaper wines. I'm glad some of you liked it.

Cheap wine
I don't want to disapoint you guys or something, but you can get very good wine here (in Germany) for less than 3 Euros (about 4.50 U$). Actually, for us to buy a bottle over 3 eur. is quite unusual, it has to be for a special occasion. Oh, I just thought to share.
