Re: Bless your heart, Ash pradin...
Didn't think I'd be singing that ol' Doris Day song..btw, the correct spelling of my last name is PRADHAN (pronounced pred..haan), but don't worry, my feelings are not hurt, you won't be the first one to have mis-spelt / mis-pronunced it :) ! - Ash

This is so true, Troosha, and even more often so than not..recognizing & accepting that helps one grow..which is what God's trying to do for all of us ! - Ash

Re: Forgive me if I took this wrong....
No you didn't, Ty..though God is giving me enough strength not to go ahead and put that sweet girl in that kind of jeopardy..no offense intended to your grandpa ! - Ash

Re: It really doesn't make sense at all-does it?Well written Ash! Chris.

No Chris..we're so stuck in outdated thinking..if I was the President I'd look for innovative ways to bring our people together, not all this crap going on, same old stuff about race, gender, religion, national origin, etc..just for example, we could have a temporary visa (1-2 yrs), called something like "Sweethearts' Visa" that would allow some wonderful people to spend some time together here and see if they are good for each other, I know it sounds silly..but you get the gist of what I'm saying ! - Ash

Sometimes chance encounters aren't meant to be more than that (as much as we wish they could be).    Life continues to throw us curve balls....

Forgive me if I took this wrong....
To me its a sad story... My grandfather told me one about him while he was in japan during wwII.. He fell inlove with a girl in japan and she became pregnant with his child and when it was time for him to come home she wasn't allowed to come with him because of our country said no... Even though he was faithfully married to my grandmother and loved her dearly he still couldn't ever forget his love in japan... He gave me her picture before he died at the age of 73.. Your writing hit home base...

I agree--in fact, I cannot agree more. Most got in & want to shut US door

...so it cost you your Brazilian Babe. I would look for an American babe, as there are so many and so many who have family/Victorian values yet. Shalom and Shanthi Aum. PS On the farm, the worst thing for me to see is the hunting season, when the owner allows hunters who love six-pointers among the male deer to kill. They are excited for the trophies...people with guns shoot LYNXES, wolves, Bears, Deer and feel so courageous. Let the animals have a gun & show who is more courageous!! Don't mention foxes as roadkill.....LORD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR CREATURES, the so-called dumb critters. Amen
