Dog, The Bounty Hunter!
It says more about our reaction to the comments than the actual comments by Dog and Imus.  We are becoming a nation of ultra-sensitive wimps regarding race and everything else as well.  I don't care when Chris Rock takes shots against white people in his stand-up comedy routines.

I agree with
saul relative and seedlings' comments regarding this (these) issues. I'd also like to add that I do think some people who become famous tend to get cocky and suddenly act as if they are untouchable. This is one example of when famous people get cocky. They also get a rude wake up call and disappear like a one-hit wonder musician. I couldn't care less if either of them never came back.

Dog, The Bounty Hunter!
I agree with you.  Dog's comments were worse but I believe that both of them were sincere in their apologies.

Re: Imus is a shock jock and Dog is a ex-con bounty hunter. Neither are

Saul, prejudice will always be a problem when you have people who feel superior than others or just don't like you on G.P. But I truly believed they were both sincere in their apologies and I just can't beat a dead horse.

Saul, would you do me a favor and respond to my Atheist blog please? I need all the help I can get for my next book.

Imus is a shock jock and Dog is a ex-con bounty hunter. Neither are
expected to win any awards in public relations.  Although I don't personally condone their choice of words, I do think that people get a bit asinine about their political correctness.  People are prejudiced.  Go figure...
