The song works on many levels, including its offensiveness. I
personally hate it, lyrics and all (but I don't like very many rap and/or hip-hop songs). But I get the message. Its offensiveness is a turn-off to the older generations, which is a plus for young people. It actually has a positive message. It's catchy. And rap is still an "in" thing, so... We sit back and wait, and hope, and read...

If it works to get people to read a book, then it is a g r e a t thing...
Books have changed my life for the better in countless ways...And music, such an influential force!

Kids are going to what they want, I don;t care for the cursing in rap, but if in all this a plus comes out, who am I to judge!!!!!!!!!sam
