If you tell it isn't a secret anymore.

Even if they already know,it's still your secret.

You haven't told us about that secret yet.

good to see you busy.

azur, possibly, it is the restraint that you now exercise here that has you

working in other areas?? Keep flying closer to your sun and bask in its warmth.

Whatever we do most often becomes what we do best. Hope it all is joyous work for you.

My sister told me today to up my medication and so I did. Maybe I will become you soon.

Best wishes for us all, benzinha

I think I needed to read this.
You are so right. I need to focus on what I'm doing, and what I want to be doing.  I don't even like what I do, right?  Maybe this will be the year I get something published and treat my current career as a chore like laundry?  A magazine deadline?  That's awesome.  Happy New Year to you too

Azur

OMG! Don't tell me you're gonna get into this happy-clappy stuff!

Don't tell me that one day I'm gonna have to run for my life, 'cos you're trillin' " Getting To Know You " in a falsetto voice a la Julie Andrews, or Doris Day, for God's sake!

This here Blogit's getting turned into "The Sound of Music" Whats happened to good old gloom an' doom, an' everyone outscrooging Scrooge? Bah! Humbug! I say!

Revenge is a dish best eaten cold, and one day ...

Happy New Year(s)

I had a shirt back in high school that said: "Revenge is the only reason

I wake up everyday." It didn't help me through high school though, seeing how I was so incredibly excellent already.

Happy New Year!

Good luck
with the magazine deadline and thanks for your comment on my blog. Do you know I hadn't ever noticed the mis-spelling of my pen name (neither had anyone else, or at least they hadn't told me). Amazing how you can't see for looking sometimes? Anyway, thanks again and good luck in 2007

Having a troubling deadline during the Holiday Season is better than NOT having a deadline, huh?  Congrats on your magazine work!  Hope 2007 is nice to you, too!

Passionflower, the best of luck to you. Take a look at ....
I don't know what you star sign is but it doesn't matter. It could apply to anyone.  This was mine for the week on http://www.freewillastrology.com Libra Horoscope for week of December 28, 2006

Verticle Oracle card Libra (September 23-October 22)
According to The Onion newspaper, the Catholic Church has abolished the traditional "blessed" status of the meek. The new official story is that the meek shall not inherit the earth. One Church official was quoted as saying, "Everything about the meek, from their quiet demeanors to their utter lack of can-do spirit, goes against Church philosophy." I can't confirm the accuracy of The Onion's report, but it does underscore a point I want to drive home to you in 2007: It'll be a favorable time for you to get tough with the docile, submissive aspects of your own psyche. Humility's fine; that can stay. But you should take aggressive measures to lose any tendencies you might have to be passive. Capitalize on the fact that events in the coming months will help you tap into reserves of courage that have previously been inaccessible.

I know you're not one of my regular readers but I've been on such an

Odyssey as you describe...My old life blew up in my face 6 years ago. It was touch and go there for a while. But I'm better than ever now.

Okay, 2006 sucked. It wasn't a very happy, wholesome year for me. But something tells me that 2007 will be much better. I'm gonna find a good agent and get one of my novels published.

I'm gonna get a book of my poetry together and get it published even if I do it myself. My life is going to turn around and finally be happy, blessed, fun and prosperous damnit!!!!

I hope yours will too. Happy New Year.

There's an old saying (don't know where I first heard it)
If it weren't for deadlines, nothing would ever get done.  Wishing you all the best for 2007. :)

Azur, there is always one thing that'll make me happy year in or
year out, chocolate, alcohol, my trinity (Al & girls) & the possibility of anything.

I put the family third because alcohol & choccie were my friends first before they came along.

Happy New Year to you, may it be a positive, productive one for you & yours.
