Jazwolf, there's this guy at school who always calls me "Ekaterina in the Big City" ...

every single time he sees me (no matter how many times per day).

"Hey, Ekaterina in the Big City!" he'll say.

He's such a dweeb.

Mademoiselle--- In the Big City, it likely was all of the above--- and then
some.

Kramer did the same thing on "Seinfeld", Mysteria.
And he, too, learned to regret it.

Sometimes I wish I had a TV, like now
TV is a love hate thing for me...I've banned it from my habitat for over 5 years now...Although I can't help but watch it when I'm at my mom's...she has a billion channels and there is always something interesting on...

For anyone who's interested:

There's a special about the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World on the History Channel right now.

My personal favorite is the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus ... just ahead of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and the Colossus at Rhodes.

Though, the Pharos Lighthouse at Alexandria is pretty good, too.

posted by syzygy on December 7, 2006 at 9:32 PM | link to this | reply

What's "Jesus' blood"?

Wine?

Cause I had always just assumed it was holy water.

posted by Mademoiselle on December 7, 2006 at 9:30 PM | link to this | reply

How am I? I'm much like Jesus - the same today, yesterday and tomorrow - no offense intended BTW to the easily offended (I happen to actually love Jesus - as unlike some Christians, I actually love everyone........as Jesus instructed - I have, as one might imagine, been partaking of His blood tonight). Well, Blanche, next is me running to catch the bus (because I'm very late for school) ...

But later on, there should be something good.

posted by Mademoiselle on December 7, 2006 at 5:44 AM | link to this | reply

Nah, the headline was perfect, Mademoiselle, dry and self-deprecating
it's a nice touch.  What's next?

It's okay, Blanche ...

I stupidly gave it away, anyway, by how I introduced the link. I should have written, "Here's something to read while you wait for me to get back."

Yeah, I will definitely see "Apocalypto", fourcats.

And the last two movies I saw were "The Nativity Story" and "Turistas".
