I'd like to think, Wiley, that they're actually just doing it out of spite.

Mademoiselle, As usual, I loved reading your post but then I got to the link.  I was disappointed that it did not work.  However, I'm sure that at least one of those 125 comments was to let you know that it didn't work so you didn't need me telling you.

Hi, Mysteria ...
I'll try to fix the link (or at least repost the paintings) after the football games are over.

Yes, well, on the surface, my behavior may seem a tad inconsistent, Jazwolf.

However, when one delves a little deeper, one will find it actually makes perfect sense.

posted by Mademoiselle on December 3, 2006 at 8:31 AM | link to this | reply

Mademoiselle--- So . . . You desperately wanted someone (besides your
uncles) to validate your yearning to be an artist by buying your work, but you didn't want to sell it to actually validate the validation. Hmmm. Step over to my couch and we'll talk about this.

Pretty much, Blanche ...

except that, I believe, it solely shows cartoons.

I must have missed both of those. That channel isn't included in our cable

It takes more than talent...
You have to be thick-skinned and tenacious. Eventually, you'll be successful if you just stay with it.

I'm pretty sure Count Chocula is still around, Blanche.
Also, there's this cable channel called Boomerang (a spin-off of Cartoon network) which occasionally runs old commercials featuring such (sadly) extinct creatures as the Crunchberry Beast and the Chocodile.

I'll have to reupload those.

posted by Mademoiselle on December 3, 2006 at 7:47 AM | link to this | reply

That's not a bad idea, Joseph.

I wasn't sure how many people would even know who the Crunchberry Beast was, actually ... although, for those few who do, I think they'll find it to be a rather amusing image.

I really appreciate you saying that, Corbin ...
I think I have finally achieved the necessary balance between school and blog ... of course, every time I make that claim, I just end up jinxing myself, and disappearing for a month.
