Sweetie, I am so sorry. You are so right about the light lighted in you. I am praying that you will grow right out of this and so will your husband. You are a strong woman; such a tower and a good mother and wife. Put your arms around your husband and just thank God for where you are today and He (creator) will take you up and up He put the support system in place. He is putting you two in a learning process to do the same for others. You have such a heart for those who are hurting. God bless you and yours. I am praying for you and yours that he will send more good people along your way like those precious neighbors.

Oh I wish I had known!
If this ever happens again take your shut off notice to the local Salvation Army, they WILL help you. Been there; done that, so I totally understand. I am glad to see you back.

Hey you all...
Life is good. I just wanted to get it out and let you know why I was gone so long. I am thankful for all of you, for all my friends, family, neighbors and coworkers. I couldn't be more blessed. And you're right, Blanche....he is an angel. At least in my life.

Hi Mommas...I was wondering about you! I'm sorry you've had such
a hard time..it's not fair! Life can be so hard on us poor little mere mortals sometimes, I know. That power company gave you an excessively hard time in my opinion. Thank goodness that you have such a good friend to come to your aide. That makes me feel better to know this. Happy Thanksgiving to you to Schatz! I hope you find a great job. You will surely be an asset wherever you go (((((((((((((Jen)))))))))))))

Wow! That IS a really bad week.
You are very fortunate to have people around you that cared enough to help you out. At least THAT is something to be thankful for, huh?? Geeeeez, keep your head up in these rough times!

thank you for the update schatz--
it's quite an ordeal. I think we don't realize just how much we rely on (and need) power--right now, it's below zero here and if I didn't have heat I'd be huddled in the corner practically comotose. I hope things get much much better for you right away!

That man was an Angel, literally, Schatz, just accept the help..I know it's
hard, my family would almost literally rather die than accept help, but sometimes you do what you have to do. how sweet. nice to see you again.

Funny thing is, we still haven't heard from them. They said we were
'scheduled for reconnect on Monday', but they've never called our come out. Who cares, right? The bill's paid.
I can actually laugh again the last couple of days. It's not so bad, in hindsight. Thanks for the hugs, Jemmie, and the click, kid. Things are brighter. It's actually 65 degrees in Detroit and it's almost December. That's something to smile about for sure.

This sounds just awful
I hope my clicks help things out at least a little - the electric company really gave your family the shaft.

Oh hun! I heart goes out to you! My first emotion was anger at the electric company and at the company who was supposed to be helping you! Didn't they realize that by not taking care of things your children would suffer? How absolutely horrible! I hate that we live in a society where money is more important than humanity.
