This Bill dude is obvious evidence of bad judgment, poor use of drugs and damaged brain currents. Look at him. He looks as if he had been hit by a freight train, I believe we would find some such if we dug into his 'paper trail'. He is such a loon. Good post!

Bah humbug!

Having worked with many, many, many very ill patients over a long period of time, I can tell you that today's modern drugs work very well to treat nausea.  Those who wish to take marijuana for supposed medicinal purposes have likely used it before and like the feeling they get from it.  Like others have said, if medicinal marijuana is going to be legal, it needs to be very closely monitored because it will very likely lead to other more serious use.

Regarding Maher.  He's likely lobotomized his brain from drug use. I certainly don't waste my time on him.

Here's my take....
I don't think Bill Mahar is very funny with his stand up, but he does have some good points. Sometimes. I don't smoke pot, (well, I do like, MAYBE once a year) but I still think it shouldn't be illegal. Especially for medicinical purposes. Regardless, it should be legalized just as alcohol is. If you're busted under the influence of anything while driving, then yeah, you're busted just as you would be for alcohol.

kingmi, you've lost me.
Which of this is you and which is Mahar?

Flight, pot-smoking induces self-deception and arrogance. Thank you!

Kingmi - Bill Mahar deceives even himself with his arrogance.

fwmystic, yeah, we don't know the data on pot smoking having lead to
hard drugs, crime and alcohol abuse.  But from experience, I know that one toke and i'd be off on another decade romp.  That's addiction.

Kingmi - I don't do drugs (anymore) but alcohol causes more harm to ...
society than marijuana. Your comments about pot were the ramblings of a conservative on acid.

OBP, I find him palleatable when the democrats are out of power.  Winning has a soothing effect on me.  Also, it bears noting that when he doesn't feel that he is changing public opinion with his rants, he is much more tolerant.

Mahar makes me sick...I can't even stand to listen to him. Ever notice he keeps his panel to the likes of Sharpton and screaming libs? When there is a conservative, rarely do they get a chance to complete a sentence..I just stopped watching him because he is stupid, arrogrant, and otherwise totally useless.

kingmi--Believe me, I agree. Tried that path in college along with
five of my closest friends.  I'm the only one who didn't go on to stronger things and more dangerous situations. I'm the only one who graduated...

reni, Lots of pot smokers in the world. I'm not being judgmental. But it
is a danger. And I will fight against it for me and for my family. I've been down that road and i have lived to tell, there's nothing there.  Nothing worthwhile anyway, illness, death, insanity, suffering, disappointment, broken trust.

Kingmi,
I suppose it is important.  Regardless of one's feelings toward that sort of thing, it is important to be aware of its effect on society.  Actually, I feel a little remiss for not considering that factor in my previous comment.  I have always considered an understanding of human nature one of the most important pursuits in life.  Thanks for giving me pause to consider that.   JJ

JJWilde, Haha.  You had me going for a minute.  This, to me, is the kernel of truth that liberals delude themselves by ignoring.  And it is the reason for good politics.  You call logic drivel.  I call it important!  Thanks!

Kingmi,
I have every respect for you; I know you are well educated or you wouldn't be a teacher, and I admire teachers very much.  My mother and brother were both in that profession.  What I don't understand is why you waste your time with the kind of drivel that is the subject of your post.  It's on a par with the battling nitwits of whatsisname's show and the tabloids at the grocery store checkout.  If it entertains you, or you seek material for a post, I can understand that; if you take it as seriously as you seem to, I cannot.  What's the deal?
