Yes MiaElla, we definitely do. I consider Oprah Winfrey and Mother Theresa my heroes because they weren't wealth wrapped, reality insulated women. Both strong and selfless, in different ways. Well yes, Oprah is very wealthy now, but I don't think she has forgotten her beginnings completely. And she continues to give back to the cause of empowerment for women. Mother Theresa, well she was truly a saint, in my opinion. We need more like these two.

That's a good idea for a poem..reflecting on  those last moments of our lives, when we get to see the worth of our existence and how it could have been different...kind of bittersweet, don't you think?
