Wednesday, August 22, 2007Summer HeatCharleston is a wonderful place to live 9 months out of the year. As a child, I thought that it could never get too hot. As an adult, I feel old when I remember my childhood opinions of Charleston summers. I used to play outside for hours on end......running around with my dog Benji. My mom would yell for me to come inside 5 or 6 times and I would pretend to not hear her. She would have to come outside and find me and I was as dark as caramel.
