Johnny's heartbreak

Sometimes when I see you it's so shameful to me I can hardly contain my pain GOD I must be vain The world is bleeding in front of my very eyes well it is, well it is, well it is just turn on the tele. My world is bleeding Yeah Johnny's heartbreak is on the six o'clock news A fabricated tale of my dismembered life without you Is it flattering to you to see me flat on my back? Pretty baby in my fantasy walk me down to the waterfront where the breeze is easy... pretty baby. In my fantasy... Yeah... Sign in to see full entry.

the Day After the Xmas Eve dinner

wow...i did some serious complaining and moaning on blogit yesterday! I surpassed myself here...well, my sister rearranged the dining room so that i would not have to look at the painting, it didn't work so well because it's huge, but more importantly almost everyone was very sweet and we had fun. I still think that the painting belongs in the dumpster. I don't see how they can see any beauty in it. Besides that my son wore a santa klaus suit that belongs to his uncle and he pranced around... I hate xmas - I hate it.

I don't understand the concept of family Please explain to me why I have to share a meal with people who only wants me around when I'm doing great. When I'm ENTERTAINING Of course, not too many people would choose to hang out with a woman looking for a Killer for Hire. They would too if they were me. How well am I going to digest the food with a painting by the ex hanging my sister's dining room table? Could she not take it down? Just for tonight. Sign in to see full entry.

Pauline 1978~

Pauline Bernath, 1978 - I am writing this piece as a monologue to be performed live. Comments and suggestions by my fellow bloggers are most-welcome. The set: A bedroom furnished Scandinavian style, early 70s. A woman in her late thirties, early forties sits in front of her vanity, facing away from the mirror. The bags from Holt Renfrew are still on the floor. She walks over to them and picks them up and starts rummaging through the bags while sitting on the floor, "What did I buy again? Yuri... 3/3 Final chapter

X Finally, she agreed to let him see her. Or to let herself see him. Misha. She stood naked, in front of the mirror. A 5-foot 8 inches tall rat stared back at her. The body was a woman’s, but was covered with rat covered flesh. When she turned to her lover and friend she felt a similar disgust. She had been seeing a vibrant young man, and now slept beside a rodent like herself. She turned away from him, while he tried to reason with her and at the very least, bring back the laughter they used to... Sign in to see full entry.

PART 2 /3 BLACK/WHITE

V When she got home, the dog was at the door to greet her. Klaire followed the dog into the kitchen, where she made some coffee. She tried to make things as normal as possible, she and the dog, Misha stopping by too, but it was difficult, because quite simply her heart was breaking, waves of pain crashing against her old self. She watched the dog as he watched her wagging her tail, then finally, she asked him, “ Are we going up Sparky?” It’s easy to forget what you love, waiting for the... Sign in to see full entry.

July 13, 2004 GRAYS, Nos. 1 through XV Once, not long ago, in a dimmed hospital room, a woman thought she felt someone move beside her, “Who's there”, she whispered. She saw a head nodding up and down. “I can’t see”. "Don't move. Your eyes are covered with icepacks. It's me. Marika. I’ll get the doctor”.... Sign in to see full entry.

6-feet underground

Better six-feet underground. Once I heard my uncle Pete say to my mom "it's better that he has a mom who's in California than a mom six-feet underground". I guess he's right, Uncle Pete, he knows what he's talking about 'cause he's an engineer. That would be like being in the subway in the dark when there's a blackout or when the train stops between two stations and everyone gets quiet and holds their breath for a very, very long time. And you little Pokey, do you like riding the subway with me... Sign in to see full entry.
