12-6 FT painting. impossible to ignore. It's upsetting for my son too.

My dad drinks too much. My sister is a fake and superficial and my other one always complains that she has no money while driving a brand new car!!! and I have an arrest warrant against me tx to the exhusband!!! Great family! LOL>

I'm sorry to hear this. I adore the holiday and enjoy having my family
around. We are all pretty relaxed at the holidays. So sorry yours is not a good experience.

I think the worst part of Christmas
is all the phoney family partying. I HATE it! There's always a big scene and then everyone goes home grumpy.

Better pick a seat facing away from the painting
lest you suffer from indigestion or an uncontrollable outburst in the middle of the dinner.

I like Christmas...
But have only started since I moved 1,000 miles away from my family and am no longer subjected to tense meals and forced smiles.

I would love to stay home with my dog and my son
but my son doesn't hate xmas. I am going to pretend. I just can't stand eating underneath the giant painting done by my former husband who is bringing us so much grief. The lack of support from my siblings is astonishing. Love, Vib

Hey Ane! I hate having to get in the 'spirit', around this...
time of year. Especialy with relatives who proclaim how 'anti-religion' they are. I've tried to explain the contradiction in celebrating christmas if they actually feel that way, but they just look at me as if I'm crazy. This year I'm just staying home with Lykonas (belgian shepherd)!
