The Harvest

Alan Horde is a farmer here in Patrick County. He quit growing tobacco and started growing pumpkins this year. They are everywhere! He has a contract with Wal-Mart. Amazingly enough, these orange jewels survive very cold temperatures. They look like orange lanterns on the barren, distant slopes. Sign in to see full entry.
