this is the eve of a most auspicious day for twenty-nine years ago you and i barefoot, wearing muslin gowns no rings, no flowers were wed by your father in his livingroom in crane, missouri my parents were there and your family it was over in seconds the "i do's" felt surrealistic for a modern girl...
