My lips crack and bleed the essence of my life coating my smile Can you taste it in my kisses Ignoring the pain therein to smile and say "You taste of cherries" even as you wipe away The blood, bright red and staining the back of your hand as well as my tongue If I swell any larger I'll burst apart...
