Opinions on Gospel of Thomas 55 and Matthew 10:37-39
As I re-read the Gospel of Thomas by Marvin Meyer, I am curious to know the feelings of others with regard to the meaning of the following verse (55): Jesus said, "Whoever does not hate his father and mother cannot be a disciple of me, and whoever does not hate brother and sisters and bear the cross as I do will not be worthy of me."
