Booger is Healthy?!

Here's one for health food junkies... Did you know that eating booger -- you know, dried up nasal secretions -- can be healthy? An Austrian proposes the idea that booger when eaten can actually be beneficial to digestion. Plus, he says, that children who are allowed to eat their booger grow up to be... Like A Teardrop From Heaven

Remember that scene in "The Passion" where, after Jesus expires on the cross, a large drop of water falls to the ground to signal the beginning of a storm? That drop of water looked to me like a teardrop from heaven. I don't know how Mr. Gibson got the idea of making that shot look that particular... Sign in to see full entry.

At Least Two Deaths During The Screening Of Gibson's Film

One is that of a pastor (the one my friend texted me about) and the other is a 50 year old woman. Friends of the Presbyterian pastor who died of a heart attack as he watched the movie deny any connection of the death to the "violence" of the film. Here is the news item from BBC-Online Hmmm. The Pope... Sign in to see full entry.

Catholics and the "Violence" of The Passion

I received another text message today. It came from a friend who is a non-Catholic. She writes: "Our pastor told us that the film was so violent that someone had a heart attack inside the theater. To understand what I mean, I have taken snippets from two poems I've read this afternoon and present them here. From DOLT: So far apart; so... Sign in to see full entry.

Jim Caviezel Talks With The Pope

John Paul II is a very special man for a very special world... The Pope is a mystic. He loves Christ (Jim Caviezel) I've seen Jim Caviezel in numerous interviews about "The Passion" (yet to released in the Philippines *sigh*). Zenit recently published an article about Jim's visit with the Pope.... Sign in to see full entry.

When Your Blogit Editor Cannot Load Because of Data Loss

This is another Geeky Stuff for the Un-Geeky, but I put it here because of what I experienced earlier. I wanted to update "There Is A Geek In A Hole" with a new tutorial on tables. But for some reason, the Blogit editor didn't show up normally. Instead only a form came out without the tool bars. I... Sign in to see full entry.
