I am Fray Alberto L. Esmeralda, OSA. I am a Filipino Augustinian Friar currently assigned in a small parish in San Pedro, Laguna. Since August 28, 1999, been an active user World Wide Web. must admit that since the time published my first webpage at Geocities.Com, I have become some sort of WWW-dweller.

I have my website at AgustinongPinoy. It is the full-blown result of my first attempt at making a webpage. I graduated a long time ago from the java-powered WYSIWYG of Geocities. By self-study, I have learned the intricacies of HTML and other web-programming language.

I am not a computer expert. I was trained to specialize in Scriptures. I earned a licentiate degree from the Pontifical Biblical Institute in 1992. My assignments however were not opportunities for doing what I was trained to do. When I learned how to publish webpages and make use of the Internet, it was then that I also began doing my biblical apostolate. I was for a time a contributor at Suite101.Com on Catholic Scripture Studies.
