Piggens missed his mother, pointing to the stars and saying "Hi Mommy" but he still had his Auntie and his home. Or he had his new home and was happy. But things were brewing. His father felt put out because he was left out of Kellie's memorial When really there wasn't one. She was cremated and her ashes weren't interned or spread. At first there was talk of a memorial but since it would end up being only Kellie's brothers and sister and Charlie, and they had no desire for that, they just had a... Sign in to see full entry.

Rehash: Part Two
So Jan had a baby to raise and then soon it became apparent that her sister Kellie needed to be taken care of and Jan needed a bigger place with no steps as Kellie could not walk much anymore. I ended up moving with them- like I said the baby needed me. Soon Kellie lost a leg and though Kellie was still "Mommy" Auntie Jan was doing the mother duties. During this time I had moved out but still spent most of my free time at their house to be with Piggens. He was growing into a happy fun-loving... Sign in to see full entry.

Part 1 of a Rehash
I suppose I should rehash this story, especially since I had jumped to the future (or present in this case). Piggens was born to my girlfriend's sister- Kellie. Kellie was always a very unhealthy girl and already had diabetes and a pregnancy was the last thing she needed. Right away her kidneys failed so she went on diaylisis right at the beginning so the chances of the baby being born was slim and of her surviving wasn't too great either. It was basically unchartered territory for the hospital... Sign in to see full entry.

A New Home
Of course life doesn't stop changing. Now Jan had to move because the landlords wanted to sell the house she and Piggens and Kellies dad were living in the last two years. And also at different times me, my son, two different single women and their kids and sometimes Charlie on the couch. Piggens was now about lose the house he knew his mother in. While Jan was looking for a house I joined in the search too. I thought if we could find a divided house I could live separate and still be there for... Sign in to see full entry.

back to the past
I had moved out before things went wrong. My son and I got an apartment together or so I thought because he was gone before 2 months was over. He might have felt like he was living alone because I was working 50- 60 hours a week and when I was off work I was hanging out at Jan's, mostly to be with Piggens. Piggens was fine with me not living there- he was used to me leaving most afternoons to go to work but he'd try to tell me "no work" which was a great idea but not so much possible. I was on... losing him again
Its been awhile since we got that phone call. It seemed at the time to be the most wonderful turn of events, that maybe Charlie understood what he was doing to Piggens to keep him away from his aunt. Or maybe at the least he was looking for a break from raising a child- it didn't matter as long as we get to see him We did get Piggens back and it was great! Took him and his dog to the beach, he got to play with the neighbor boy who is his best friend and we thought we had a couple more days... Sign in to see full entry.
