Barry Bonds missed out on another opportunity to make history last night. The greatest active player in baseball failed in his attempt to tie a Major League record for homering in eight consecutive games. Tigers Attempt to Regain First Today

You heard me right. My Tigers haven’t folded yet. In spite of some shaky pitching from starter Nate Cornejo and reliever Gary Knotts, Detroit ended Minnesota’s 6-game winning streak with an 11-8 victory last night.
