Once you get into it, baseball is a tremendous game that engages you with more lore and strategy than any other that I know of. Besides being great fun for kids to play, and for over-age kids like me to watch, the fact that its still played by relatively normal sized people is a big plus. You don't have to be nearly seven feet tall or over 250 pounds in order to excel in baseball. Encourge your grandson. Its one of the few sports in which normal-sized kids still stand a chance.

Great Posr. I must confess I was never big on baseball until my grandson starting playing T-ball. I watched "61" over the weekend and it really opend my eyes!
