Home for a little while

Today I normally do not have to clean the offices. Yesterday I was too tired, so decided Saturday would be better this time. I also found out I would have to re-clean (dust and mop) the doctors' offices because there had been some sheetrock work done in the room that needs finishing. It normally takes me 1 1/2 hours, but today it took 3, because I had to dust everything and wipe all the doors and baseboards down. The VW's I (we) have owned

My husband is working on our VW bus that broke down when he was driving it from Tucson. He had a very good friend put it in a trailer and bring him the rest of the way, to Oregon. We also bought another VW bus for a good price and he plans on getting it running. We want to keep them, but probably will need to sell them. Let's see, how many VWs have I (we) owned. The Centipede

In Sonora, Mexico where we lived, there are scorpions, black widow spiders and centipedes. I haven't seen very many, but the ones I have seen are scary. The locals say that if you get bit by one, they latch onto you and you have to burn them to make them let go. I have never had one bit me, so I don't know. They are also supposed to be poisonous. 5 minutes

I have a few minutes to write. That's how it's going to be most of the time. 5 here, 10 there. My right shoulder hurts. Why? Because I cannot stay away from shooting baskets. We joined an athletic club so that this winter we will get some exercise. They had a contest. From the freethrow line, how many can you shoot out of 25? They had it by ages and gender. So, because I was the only women over 50 who tried it, I won. I'm embarrassed to say that I won by getting 5 out of 25. But, everytime I go... Sign in to see full entry.

Writing and Brainstorming

I was reading a blog written by formerstudentintern and agree totally with not knowing what to write about. Sometimes I think that I shouldn't be writing about myself. But then that's what I end up writing about the most. So, today I will brainstorm and write subjects I might write about. If you see one that sounds interesting please let me know. About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
