Change of plans

I can't write long. I woke up with a headache. It went away after an excedrin and 2 cups of coffee. I went to a Womens' Bible study this am. The subject was hope. It was very encouraging and if I felt better, I'd share more. Then, on the way home I thought I should by a hamburger. I was so close to home, I thought, I can eat at home. But, I ran into a cousin I hadn't seen in 10 years, so we went to the coffee shop downtown. I had orange juice and we had a very good visit. I called my kids and... Sign in to see full entry.

Reflection on a poem

I read a poem by Kayzzaman. It was on How time began. I have pondered this thought a lot. I believe in God and eternity. I imagine that God lives in eternity. He lives where there is no time. So, in heaven, there will be no time. That is a very deep thought if you think about it awhile. What is "no time"? We live here. Past - Present - Future. Work and other trivia

I went to work a little late. The 4 kids went to a youth group at church, so they couldn't help at work. I was pretty tired and had a few extra things to do, so it took me 2 hours instead of 1 or 1 1/2. I am not complaining, as I really have a fairly easy job and not too many hours in the day. Greg and I paint the bathrooms in the Theater on Tue. and Wed. night. A good mini job and we'll get 2 tickets for the movies on top of it. We went to look at the VW camper stuff. Plans for today

I got up earlier and Susannah is making oatmeal for breakfast. It is only 30 F. out still. It looks like it might warm up today though. Today will be fairly busy. Greg and I are going to look at some camper stuff for a VW bus. The girl has a fridge, cupboard, sink, shelf and propane tank. We might get it all, because it would help our brown bus sell (or we could keep it). At 5:00 we are checking out the painting job at the Theater. At 7:00 I go to work. Random thoughts

I only have a minute to write. Susannah is making pancakes. Gordon is leaving on the bus today. It's not rainy, but dreary looking outside. In Tucson, Arizona, March through November is nice weather, with Monsoon rains in the summer. I miss it. We didn't have a house there, but stayed in our friends 2 trailers. We had a camp-fire in the winter and our friends would come over to visit. Ok- I'm back. I just took a detour to Tucson for a minute to remember that it is sunny somewhere right now. Not... About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
