Catching the horse...

Today I went out to ride the horse with Clemy. She was acting up:) I finally got her saddled up and decided to walk her around for awhile, then tighten the cinch up a little. She bolted and I got a little rope burn. She was running around the field with the saddle, bridle and halter (with rope dragging). After awhile, our friend and owner of the property helped me to catch her and help me get the courage to get back on. I didn't ride much after that, but ended with a good note I think.... Resting today...

I am REALLY resting today. NO work! In the a.m. went to church with the 2 at home. (Susannah was away this week). The service was really good, about how important reading the Bible is. I twisted my ankle Friday, but it is almost better already. I am glad I didn't sprain it. This week has got to be better than last week! I am looking forward to it. Exercise Day...

It's too late to write, but I really don't have any other time. Today was my housecleaning day. In the am I was going to clean a house at 8 or 9, but the client said tomorrow is better and I'm OK with that too. I didn't have to leave town till 2 pm. On the way I stopped by the little coffee kiosk and bought a latte' with cream instead of milk. It was good. I am learning how to work smarter rather than harder these days. Special time...

I helped clean the Pediatric Clinic with Greg and Clemy tonight. We left early to take Clemy to Awana Bible class. Greg wanted me to stay and check it out, as she was going with a friend and never been before, so he finished the job and is now doing another one by himself. After Clemy's class was over, we went to McDonald's for a hot-fudge-sundae and split it. (It was only $1) good, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you... and a little news around the house...

First of all I want to thank everyone who prayed for me yesterday. It really helped I know. The day ended happy:) I ended up working 7 hours cleaning offices yesterday and am really tired today. That's partly from getting to sleep too late last night though. I am going to try to get Wednesday off this week. We had a really nice rain yesterday. I was sitting in the VW bus outside the clinic with Greg and we were procrastinating going to work. It was nice talking and listening to the rain beat... Sign in to see full entry.

About this Blog

I plan on writing about past and present life experiences and what I have learned from them. I also want to tell stories of things in my past, some humourus, some serious and some trivial. I have done some traveling and want to describe those places and people accurately, maybe in some cases changing names if I see it could embarrass someone. I will write out of my heart and hopefully give hope to some of my readers. I do not have all the answers, but have lived long enough to know there are many trials in life and obstacles. I want to examine life, it's simplicities and complexities and share my observation and at times opinions with others.
